Classes and Dates
Alison Wilson
Alison, joined the Embroiderer’s Guild in 1982 and served on the committee and also as President. She became the regional rep for the Association of New Zealand Embroiderers Guilds for four years, 1986-90. Her credentials include completion of the London City and Guilds Course in design and embroidery, a New Zealand Certificate in Machine embroidery and the NZ Certificate in Craft Competency. Alison joined Artisan Fibres in 2006.
Alison has attended many classes by overseas embroiderers in both New Zealand and U.K., and continues teaching and experimenting with textiles, both of which she much enjoys.
Loopy Ladies Class

Lynette Hale
Lynette has been in the Canterbury Embroiderers' Guild since the beginning of 1989 and served 8 years on the commitee and as President. She has sat a NZ Certificate in Design and Creative Embroidery and enjoys many techiques of embroidery which she also tutors to the Guild and in the past various craft shops. Lacemaking is another pastime she enjoys, plus being a qualified dressmaker, she also likes to make her own clothes. She has worked on several public works one of which now hangs in the Town Hall - the Womens' Suffrage Commemorative panel. She still enjoys learning from well known overseas tutors and passing on the techniques.
